Two years ago it was nearly impossible to get a Nintendo® Wii™, but I had to have one, despite the fact that it was a bit out of my price range. So I saved my money, searched Craigslist, and agreed to pay more than the retail price to have one in my hands right away. And then, there I was with my Wii… and the one game it came with… that I couldn’t play with anyone because I only had one remote. I quickly realized to achieve the level of enjoyment I had envisioned I needed more remotes and more games, an extra Nunchuk™, a charging station, wheels for Mario Kart™, an extra guitar for Guitar Hero®, and the list went on and on. What started off as a $300 purchase quickly snowballed into a much more expensive entertainment investment.
